At the Jim Moran Heart and Vascular Center, we offer Advanced Cardiac Therapeutics and comprehensive cardiovascular care through a number of specialty clinics and programs designed to address prevention, surgical intervention, care management and rehabilitation.
Cath Lab
Our Catheterization Labs are available 24 hours a day. The 17-bed admission/recovery area is staffed by expert clinicians.
Electrophysiology / EP Lab
We perform all standard device implantations, such as pacemakers, implantable cardiac defibrillators, biventricular defibrillators, loop monitors and device extractions. Our device extractions are performed in an operating room environment by well-trained cardiothoracic surgeons who have mastered the art of extraction and are well-trained to handle any potential complications.
Metabolic Clinic
Holy Cross is excited to offer a program for patients with Metabolic Syndrome through the UM-HCH Internal Medicine Faculty and Residency Practice. The yearlong program offers guidance, education and coaching on nutrition, exercise and stress reduction.
The Salah Foundation Congestive Heart Failure Suite
In the Heart Failure Suite, the team works to reduce hospitalizations and improve heart failure patient care by providing intensive personalized therapy and developing individual programs that educate patients about heart failure, optimize chronic medications and help patients manage their disease. We are also a designated LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) shared care facility.
Structural Heart Program for Valve Disorders
The Structural Heart program address valve disorders using the lastest clinical advances and technologies.
Women's Heart Program
Holy Cross Health's Women's Heart Program is dedicated to helping women prevent, diagnose and treat heart disease. Our physicians take a comprehensive approach to women's unique cardiac needs at the Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women's Center and the Jim Moran Heart and Vascular Center.
